The company was founded by a team of highly educated entrepreneurs, who refused to compromise with the Greek recession and decided to struggle against the odds, in order to help Greece decrease its current deficit by exporting a product, 100% Greek. In a research which was being conducted for months, they decided that Greece presented a comparative advantage against the rest of the E.U countries when it came to the production of olive oil. The decision was based on the quality of the olive oil production in Greece compared to other countries granting olive oil a higher possibility level of market entry in countries which could value its premium quality.
The team of entrepreneurs consists of a wide spectrum of people ranging from PhD economists, MBA certified production managers, MSC certified logistic managers all the way to highly trained agriculturists with an Msc in organic farming and green methods of Agriculture.
